This little bowl has been crafted from a locally sourced beech tree. The shaping process occurred while the wood retained moisture, resulting in a unique form as it transitioned to a slight oval shape during the drying process.
I think this little bowl is so ideally suited for holding jewellery but it could also hold keys or table condiments; however, it is advisable to avoid cleaning it in a dishwasher.
