Candle No.4 is assembled from the same four solid bronze and timber elements in varying compositions. Inspired by the kinetic art movement of the 1950s and 60s, each arrangement creates a subtle impression of movement despite its static form.

Designed to make use of workshop offcuts, the dimensions and proportions of the timber elements are allowed to vary with the material available. Each candleholder is therefore subtly different, while retaining the same four-part structure
