Sculpture Spoon 290£
£300 ︎
Carved from ash wood.
The sculpture stands tall with a classic tapered body and a small head positioned prominently at the top.
Each of my spoons is unique, representing a departure from functional utility favouring aesthetic form. Rather than serving as an instrument for drizzling spices or sprinkling sugar, my spoons are more likely to be displayed prominently, akin to a bouquet in a window, fulfilling the singular purpose of visual appreciation.

Turned from a large white poplar tree that had been felled along my route to the workshop one morning. The wood surprised me with its character and remarkable lightness.
