Sculpture Spoon No. 16 is crafted from a wild pear log that has been air-dried for over a year.
The sculpture stands tall with a smooth, curved body and a small head positioned prominently at the top.
Each of my spoons are unique, representing a departure from functional utility in favor of aesthetic form. Rather than serving as an instrument for drizzling spices or sprinkling sugar, my spoons are more likely to be displayed prominently, akin to a bouquet of flowers in a window, fulfilling the singular purpose of visual appreciation.
